CCSA BOARD

6/19/2008
June 2008
The CCSA Board met on
June 11th 2008.

We made progress on a number of fronts.

The board has resolved most of the banking issues related to transitioning the new officers.

Our Account moved from
Websters to Peoples bank.

Short list of other buisness:

Payment sent for the recent website updates.

Secured our seminar date of September 27th 2008 with a deposit to Mohegan Sun.

Discussed all aspects of upcoming Vendor Fair and assigned responsibilities to individual board members.

Discussed need to finalize the CCSA's LLC status with the attorneys at an addfitional cost to secure our tax exempt status

Discussed need to amend Bylaws on two fronts.

First is for our pending affiliation with IAHCSMM.

The second is for the need to change the role of President elect to Vice president.

The commitment of 4years as President elect is too great of a burden on anyone interested in being elected to that position.

The President title will be amended to include a 1 year “Past President” position.

There would be no responsibility for the proposed position other than to act as a liaison to the newly elected board on questions of how business transactions occurred.

The Vice president would still be encouraged to run for President in the election but the primary difference would be that it would not be automatic as it is now.

Thank you and look back frequently for News updates in the coming weeks on the
Big Vendor Fair in September.

Submitted on behalf of the
CCSA BOARD
